Master Photographer Émérite, member of the « Quebec Association of Professional Photographers » and Master of Photographic Arts and member of « Professional Photographers of Canada », Marc Bailey established his studio in Sherbrooke almost 30 years ago. He made himself known by the quality of his work, his contribution to the profession, and by the many awards he received in Quebec, Canada & in USA.
The quality of his works makes him one the most recognized photographers in the province of Quebec and one of the most decorated photographers in the country. He was named Photographer of the Year in Canada in 2007, 2014 by the Professional Photographers Association of Canada (PPOC).
Also he won the title of « Portrait Photographer of the Year » in Quebec in 2003, 2007 and 2014.
Marc Bailey’s exceptional experience and talent have earned him a call to lecture on his art at the provincial, national and international levels.
Marc Bailey has also been rewarded for his contribution to the advancement of photography in Quebec. In April 1997, Marc was honored to receive the “Provincial Citation P.P.O.C.” For services rendered to the profession. He has also taught photography at Champlain College for over ten years. Now individual classes are offered at the studio.
Since 1990, Marc Bailey has had the honor of seeing one of his works, “Sad Eyes”, presented in the internationally renowned exhibition “Profesionnal Photographers Showcase” at Epcot Center (Walt Disney World, Florida)
2001: Recipient of the title “Maître Photographe Émérite”, the most prestigious title in photography in Québec awarded by the PPDQ.
2001: Wedding Portrait Trophy (PPOC, Canada, 2001).
2003: Women’s Portrait Trophy (CMPQ, Quebec).
2003: Trophy of the Fuji Masters, Kodak Gallery Award Prize and Permanent Collection for the work “Notre mariage dans la vallée du Vieux Moulin” (PPOC, Canada, 2003).
2007 : Selected by the Sainte-Justine Children’s Hospital in Montreal to produce a painting for the new Mother-Child wing.

2012: Photographer of the year in Quebec (portrait) (PPDQ, Québec, 2012: Winner of a prestigious “Kodak Gallery Award” in New Orleans, Louisiana, USA.
2013 : Photographer of the year in Quebec (portrait) (PPDQ).
2013: Marc receives the prestigious “Mérite Estrien” prize awarded to those who have helped make the Estrie region recongnised throughout the country.
2014: Photographer of the Year in Canada (portrait) (PPOC).
2016 : Marc was selected to represent Canada at the « Word Photography Cup » in China.
2017: Marc received his 7 th Masters Bar from Professional Photographers of Canada (PPOC). Very few photographers have received so many bars in Canada.
Diane is well known and respected in the photographic scene in Quebec, and is often invited to give lectures. Born communicator, she published articles for professional photographic magazines.
Since she became a grandmother (five times rather than one), Diane is happier than ever. As you will see during your visit, her trademark is the smile and good humor.
Graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Visual Arts from the University of Quebec in Montreal, she brings a whole new expertise and creativity to the digital turning point taken by the studio for several years. She has created Renaissance Paintings, a unique range of paintings that unify painting and photography.
Between her children and her paintings, Jessica finds time to help Marc during the pose sessions.
Her talent, her charisma and her interpersonal skills make her an artist and a very pleasant person to rub shoulders with.

He has received numerous awards and honors throughout his career, including Maître Photographe Émérite au Québec (CMPQ) and the title of Photographer of the Year in Quebec in 2007, 2012 and 2013 and in Canada in 2007 and 2014.
Recently, with the initiative of Jessica, her daughter who graduated in Visual Art from the Université du Québec à Montréal, the studio launched Les Tableaux Renaissance, paintings that revolutionize the art world by shattering the boundaries between photography and painting.
The Studio offers a service of restoration and retouching of old photos of very high quality.
After teaching photography at Champlain College for over ten years, Marc now teaches in our studio in Sherbrooke, Quebec.
